Local Wireless & Mobile Search Services
I see Local Search for wireless and mobile devices taking of 10 fold this year. With hotspots and wireless service providers offering devices that are broadband capable as well as Phone Service with number portability, hey what can be better? I see Local Search services skyrocketing with companies that offer Location Based Information. Social Networks will most likely see the biggest increase of revenue for the reason that information provided by their members can be categorically targeted for their interests, so no matter where their members may be traveling they can easily receive information based on what they are searching for. I see expanded services that include timed alerts when a consumer device logs into a certain tower or hotspot that may trigger another event such as logging into a group or even tasks of clocking into work or the sending of information. Enhanced learned Services that target consumers profile, interests, or business aspects by recognizing where you are and your surroundings in a geographic location can send localized based information. What I think will be a really great service is when a consumer may search for a product or see an advertisement they will be able to query or see results on the closest business that may have that product in stock or not, put a hold on the product or purchase through an online commerce like E-Wallet. VOIP for Mobile devices I believe will probably be implemented by Motorola and Sprint PCS. Think about being able to make a voice call from anywhere there is a hotspot for free. I believe CDMA, TDMA, and GSM will become the Analogs under today's VOIP, based on the recent trends and news. W-CDMA, EDGE, Wi-Max are offering fast and robust services that include advanced mutimedia content which is paving the way right now and is on our doorstep. Local Wireless and Mobile Search will be used by all of these companies and technologies I mentioned here including yes consumers like me from which I just composed this post from my Mobile Device.
