Wireless Search and Mobile Gaming

Most of us have downloaded a free trial or subscribed to a Jar, Jad, or Java game through our wireless provider or a 3rd party. If you have not you probably will! Mobile games are advancing with handsets as technology pushes forward. Mobile Games are going to generate $10 billion a year by 2010 for the wireless Industry and Software companies alike. Jamster, and DadaMobile Are just 2 of many companies ahead of the game, but rest assured there is plenty of room with such a big piece of the gaming pie as it will be. Well where does Wireless search come into the picture in the mobile gaming industry? Location Based Services will provide a way for wireless Search to enter into the market by providing local search and Mapping coordinates. What kind of game requires maps or Location Based Gameplay? These games will be Live RPG, Contest, Team, Tournament, and Location Based Dating as well as Chat. Local companies will be able to offer these games to drive revenue and in return offer Product, services or a prize. Lets say you are in Las Vegas and you log into a cellular tower or HotSpot and you are given the chance to enter a poker tournament, all you have to do to Qualify is beat a few players on your wireless device first. These kind of advertisements can be brought upon by Wireless Search that promted you to follow a link that read "Play free poker for your chance to enter a tournament at binions Horseshoe Hotel and Casino" hey why not go in there maybe gamble a little bit and get a bite to eat $$$. This is just a small example of Wireless Search and Mobile Gaming coming together. Think of the possibilities

Mobile Contextual ads

Mobile Contextual ads will generate great revenue for Location based services and the Wireless Search Industry. Implementing mobile contextual ads for Mobile and wireless devices is a small task of making this kind of code work on different Platforms and wireless devices. However this can be eliminated by adding a piece of code to each search Page of Web Page that when a wireless device lands on the Queried page it automatically serves up the correct format wether you have a wireless device that uses Wap Protocal, Symbian, Windows Mobile, or Palm. With wireless devices that render small display screens this may be a bit decieving for the reason that you may click on a link that might actually look like part of the web page that reads "Next" or "Click her for more info" These links may be formatted that looks like the page you are browsing becouse they have to format to fit the size of the view screen. However this can be improved by making the links come up in a different color or stating above links by displaying the word "Advertisement"
